in order to improve the professional ability and scientific literacy of students, and strengthen their awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship, the engineering school of qmul, npu has organized and conducted the evaluation work of the project defense of innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students in chang’an campus on june 3, 2021.
a total of 102 innovative training programs have participated in this project defense, which were divided into six groups at the same time.the application members were mainly from the engineering school of qmul, npu, and others from school of materials science and engineering, school of chemistry and chemical engineering, school of computer science, etc., covering a wide range of fields.professor yan hongxia, professor chen lixin, professor zheng yaping, professor zhang hepeng, professor yan yi, professor zhang chengyu, professor wang haifeng, professor shang li, professor li zhen and professor yu tao from school of chemistry and chemical engineering, school of materials science and engineering, and the institute of flexible electronics were invited by qmes to serve as review experts for this defense.professor fan xiaoli, vice dean of teaching of qmes, also participated in this defense.
the review of this project defense was divided into two parts: the reports of the project leaders and the questions raised by the experts. each project team has made a detailed report on research background, innovative ideas, technical routes, preliminary basis, as well as schedule and budget of their application for the college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship programs. after that, the review experts made detailed inquiries and guidance to each team from the aspects of the feasibility, innovation and practicability of the project, the writing method of the project application, and the standardization of ppt production.
the innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students (hereinafter referred to as the “great innovation program”)is not only an important measure to improve the quality of higher education, but also an important way to improve the quality of applied technology talents.
since 2018, qmes has been actively promoting the application and organization of great innovation programs. based on the undergraduate tutor system and all-around mobilization, it has built an innovation and entrepreneurship education mechanism of “the community of teachers and students”, which promotes students to participate in scientific research training as soon as possible, stimulates their innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit, and improves their comprehensiveliteracy and practical ability.in the next step, qmes will focus on the combination of points and areas, do a solid job in the cultivation of key programs, and constantly improve the quality and social benefits of the innovation and entrepreneurship training programs.
