in september 2022, the international development center of students of qmes carried out in-depth exchanges with all classes of 2019 one by one. the small class symposiums were held around students’ career development planning, studying abroad, advanced study and employment guidance to further promote the undergraduate graduation development planning work. fan xiaoli, dean of qmes, dai fuping, secretary of the party committee of qmes, cheng yin, vice dean of qmes, li qi and bi jialong, the members of the international development center of students, liu jia, the counselor of the class of 2019, and all class advisers attended the series of symposiums.

at the symposium, students shared their graduation development intentions and their feelings of preparation so far based on their actual situation. the leaders of qmes analyzed the international situation, domestic advanced study and employment situation for students, guiding students to make a plan for the future from a broader perspective and answering the questions of students. counselors and class advisors gave explanations towards problems faced by students about postgraduate recommendation, postgraduate qualifying examination, studying abroad and employment. li qi and bi jialong from the international development center of students gave a detailed explanation of the policy on overseas study and application to students.

in the process of communication, the leaders and teachers of qmes answered the questions raised by students and put forward guidance on studying abroad and taking the postgraduate qualifying examination. they also reminded students to make a reasonable plan for the review progress and pay close attention to the time of registration and examination.

through this symposium, students thought that they should be further firm in their ideals and convictions, set up lofty goals and confirm their target universities, majors or employment intentions based on their own conditions.
